We only keep and use information for specific reasons set out in the law, for example your name, date of birth, address etc and information about your dental and general health, clinical records, fees paid and records of complaints.
We share information with the NHS in connection with your dental treatment and your private dental plan provider if you have one.
We may share your information with other health professionals caring for you, NHS payment authorities, Department for Work and Pensions and its agencies, dental laboratories, debt collection agencies.
We will only keep your records for 11 years after the date of your last visit to the Practice. At your request, we will delete non-essential information (for example some contact details) before the end of this period.
Please note that where installed, CCTV is in operation for safety and security purposes. Calls may also be recorded for training, monitoring, and quality assurance (where systems are in installed).
You have a right to access the information that we hold about you and to receive a copy. We do not usually charge you for copies of your information; if we pass on a charge, we will explain the reasons.
